Financial Aid Information

The pursuit of a doctoral degree requires a significant investment of time, energy, and resources. There are a number of financial aid opportunities to help students fund their doctoral studies.  The form of such aid varies, however, and could include the following:

  • University-based fellowships
  • JACSW-based research assistantships
  • Faculty-based research assistantships
  • Teaching assistantships
  • Tuition waivers
  • External funding sources such as private foundations

Additional information about financial aid for doctoral studies may be found on UIC Graduate College website:  http://grad.uic.edu/funding-your-education.
