The University of Illinois Chicago's Jane Addams College of Social Work's Committee for Advancing Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (CADIE) is honored to welcome Chicago's first-ever Deputy Mayor of Community Safety Garien Gatewood, who will discuss the city's new People's Plan for Community Safety. Gatewood will also participate in a panel discussion with community safety experts as they address questions on what's being done in Chicago to reduce crime and improve community safety.
