DESCRIPTION:In today?s society, trauma has affected us all. Effectively navigating trauma within the realm of school social work requires a paradigm shift ? from viewing problematic behavior merely as a symptom of past trauma to recognizing it as a coping mechanism. This Institute will emphasize trauma-informed practices that prioritize safety, trust, and collaboration, with the goal of establishing a supportive learning environment that fosters resilience and healing. This institute is designed for individuals working with children and youth who want to enhance their skills and knowledge in best practices, the latest research, and innovative strategies.
