Liangqi (Cecilia) Shen is a doctoral student at the Jane Addams College of Social Work. Her research focuses on caregiving for children with disabilities or special health care needs, examining: (1) the dyadic relationship between caregiver factors and child outcomes, (2) the long-term impact of caregiving on caregivers' life trajectories, and (3) interventions to support families of children with disabilities. Additionally, she has a strong interest in quantitative research methods, mixed methods research, and meta-analysis. Shen earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Nankai University in 2022 and a master's degree in social work from Zhejiang University in 2024.
