Webinars Prepare JACSW Students for 2023-2024 Academic Year
The Jane Addams College of Social Work has produced three webinars welcoming full-time students, PM-extended study students and advanced standing students to the college for the 2023-2024 academic year. The videos provide students with information that will be useful prior to the start of the academic year regarding the curriculum, registration, the importance of UIC email, and other available resources.
Each webinar is recorded so students can re-watch at their convenience. A question-and-answer session at the end of the presentation will answer any follow-up questions, and students are also encouraged to email questions. In addition, a FAQ accompanies the webinar.
The videos “present issues that you will now encounter through a different lens as you prepare to learn the skills of a social worker,” said Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Services Faith Bonecutter, who narrated the videos. “As a college we look forward to increasing your knowledge base, while also learning from you, as there is much work to be done.”
