About

Dr. Foell’s research agenda focuses on issues of housing and community development. His current research includes examining housing relocation and interorganizational partnerships in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI), housing stability in HUD’s Family Unification Program (FUP), and consequences of community violence exposure for youth living in public housing. Dr. Foell has several years of practice experience in the areas of youth homelessness, school social work, community development, and program evaluation.
