Rosa joined Erie Neighborhood House in 2014, a social services agency in Chicago, with her last position being the Proyecto Cuidate director overseeing daily management and implementation of violence prevention services. Her involvement with various collaborative efforts in addition to her professional experience speaks volumes about her passion and interest in the well-being of families and individuals, especially in communities that are under-resourced. Through the doctoral program at Jane Addams College of Social Work, Rosa’s research interests include using a global lens to compare various community and safety models that make meaningful impact in neighborhoods that are underserved.
