About
Mary Smith has served as a senior consultant for the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors Research Institute (NRI) and has held the position of associate director of Decision Support, Evaluation and Services Research for the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health (IDHS-DMH). While there, she was responsible for policy regarding implementation and updating of the information system used for service reporting by community-based agencies contracting with IDHS-DMH. Smith has served on a number of national and statewide workgroups and has provided consultation on a variety of topics at the local, state, and national level.
