Tracy is currently an assistant professor at National Louis University, teaching across undergraduate Human Services, Psychology and Social Work majors. She began her career as a middle school teacher before continuing her education in social work to gain a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and political factors contributing to community and educational inequities. Through leadership roles within Chicago Public Schools and National Louis University, Tracy has extensive experience in strategic planning, program management and evaluation, data analytics, and budget and grant management. Her research interests include equitable access to education across K-12 and post-secondary, policies and practices that promote equitable outcomes in college graduation and employment, decolonizing social work education, and ethical considerations in research and program/policy evaluation.
