The Jane Addams Birthday Challenge

The Jane Addams Birthday Challenge
These five Jane Addams alumni, each representing their decade of graduation, have a challenge for you:
- Annette H. Johnson, MSW 1973 – representing 1970-79 graduates
- Cece Sykes, LCSW, MSW 1982 – representing 1980-89 graduates
- Michael D. Burns, MSW 1998 – representing 1990-99 graduates
- Lorri L. Glass, LCSW, PhD 2008 – representing 2000-09 graduates
- José L. Espinosa, LCSW, MSW 2016 – representing 2010-19 graduates
They are challenging you to join them in putting a candle on Jane Addams’ cake by making a donation to the college in her honor. They’ve created groups of graduates by decades and are challenging their decade to carry forward Jane’s mission by supporting the training of passionate and highly skilled social workers at Jane Addams College of Social Work.
The decade(s) that raises the most money and/or has the largest number of donors by Jane’s birthday on September 6, will be the winner. Here are the current leaders:
